If you're looking for earth moving construction data collecting and machine control surface modeling solutions you've come to the right spot.   I have a 25 year background, with 15+ years operating earthmoving equipment, and the other 10+ years in site developing project manager, construction management, civil engineering and surveying.  All of these careers have come together giving me a unique and fully qualified perspective and understanding of surface modeling and how to build digital  projects according to what the contractor and your operators require.

I work independently on creating 3d  surface modeling projects, mostly for earthmoving contractors and developers who are using todays latest technology (GPS and Total Stations) to improve performance, time and efficiency from their equipment and operators.​

Because you're spending hundreds, or perhaps thousands of dollars per hour on your operational costs, it's important to have the most accurate, illustrative, and operator friendly models to save time, improve drainage, and overall quality of work to be within acceptable tolerances.  The last thing you want is for your data to be wrong, or your operators to be frustrated with an inaccurate, or non-functional surface model.  

 

Most surfaces provided from your engineer are full of errors.  Common errors are elevation spikes in the surface, contain 2d linework, built by contours instead of breaklines, contain way too much project information that confuses the operator (and slows down processing power of the onboard display), only one color (no identification of line type for the operator).  A perfect project surface model is a piece of art, flawless, and well organized/color sorted layering, containing all the information your operators need - in a way that is easily understood in their display.
